Seamless transition from flight to your car? Its cheapest to rent and return at the airport, but seems nightmarish, especially, toting along an 8-month old baby.

Personally, after traveling a LOT with an infant it has been my experience that it is better to grab the airport bus from ICN to your destination then a quick cab ride home (or wherever you are going).

Buses are frequent (20 minute service), cheap and comfortable (luggage is usually stowed underneath).

Thanks for the info. The bus ride to my destination is too far with an 8-month old. We probably need a stop or two and he may not let others rest. I need to get a car while in Korea, so I'll give Kumho a try.

1st time in Korea huh?

It is NOT like the states. Buses from the airport can get you across the country in less than 4 hours. If you get stuck in traffic it can take you more than 3 hours to get to and through Seoul in a car lane.

If you want to rent at the airport make sure you have an IDP (international drivers permit) to go along with your US license.
