| My contract ends at the end of August. My PS contract says they owe me 1.3 million won within a month after the end of my contract. How am I supposed to get the money, wait a month after I finish? Also, they seem very poorly run and vindictive. One of the teachers that recently completed his contract claimed that they failed to pay him some of what they owed. Is there any way to make sure I get paid my severance and airfare before I leave? |

| Usually, foreigners have two alternatives: (1) give the school your home bank info, including swift code. The school can transfer your money into the account; (2) set up your Korean bank account so that you can do Internet banking and be able to do international transfers (like a KEB account)--give the school the bank account info. Any money owed will be deposited in Korean Won and you can transfer the money between accounts anytime. |
