Do you like to watch?

People that is ....

Hi my name is JacktheCat and I am a people watcher.

One of my favorite past times in Korea is to sit at the subway station or the park with my wine and clove cigarettes and watch the world and the flood of humanity pass by.

Life is just so damn interesting.

Hi, my name is Sparkx and I too am a people watcher.

That being said, Korea has to be one of the worst places I've been for this "hobby". When I was back home a few months ago, I experienced severe censory overload from the multitude of interesting things/people to look at (different ethnicities, clothing styles, attitudes). After this I kind of adopted the mentality that korea, at the absolute least, makes going to other places that much more interesting....almost like taking a sh*t in an outhouse of a national park. It's nasty and repulsive when you're inside, but it feels that much better when you leave ..... What was the question again?

Oh ya...for people watching, Itaewon satiates my cravings. Sit in the window of Subway or Schlotsky's and just enjoy the freak parade..ahhhh.

People watching is cool. I was out in Shinchon on a Saturday night about a month ago and from the bar's window, I saw this drunk guy repeatedly try to plant one (a la V-J Day sailor) on his guy friend. That was really entertaining.
In Gwangju last year, I spent a lot of Sunday afternoons in Starbucks taking in the crowds.

I used to watch people a lot more back home after discovering sociology in university. It can be quite fascinating, especially from an apartment balcony or a park bench.

Here in Korea I don't spend much time watching, though I do hold extended glances when I see something that seems a bit different to me.

One reason I think I've stopped watching people is that I'm being watched so darn much in Korea!

People watching here is great. From the window of my favorite coffee shop I saw: An ajuma beating up a bunch of guys with a toy umbrella, another guy without an umbrella running and ducking under other people's, a doumi get buried by the sign behind her which blew over, and my all time favorite:

A guy who was so busy staring at the white girl in the window, that he tripped over a potted plant and fell! Laughing

Not to get all weird or anything, but paying attention to a person's aura (or at least how they carry themselves) can be pretty interesting as well. You know, there are some people who just seem more approachable than others and I think it has a lot to do with what they are thinking and how they feel about themselves.

Coming from you pidgeon t|ts, i'll take that as a compliment. Maybe i'll be kind to all onlookers and send you back to that quarantine troll cave for the esthetically challenged you crawled out of

It's better when people throw the ball and I can run after it, bring it back and repeat over and over and over again. Cool

Bet you don't get to do much quality people watching being so low to the ground. But then again, I bet plenty of people stoop down to scratch your ears and ask "Who's a nice doggie?" Laughing
