If you have problems with getting fingerprints from your local police station, go to Jungno Police Station behind the US embassy in Seoul and you will have no problms getting fingerprints.
Just bring the FBI sheet for fingerprints and go to the US embassy in Seoul. It's in Gwanghwamun Square.
You can get there by exiting Gwanghwamun Station (line 5), Jonggak Station (Line 1), or Anguk Station (Line 3).

Walk behind the US embassy and you will see a large Fire Station. On the right side, attached to the Fire Station, you will see the small sign for the "Jogno Police Station." They are very cooperative when it comes to getting your fingerprints for the FBI police check. Just print out a copy, or two, of the FBI fingerprint form and make sure the policemen sign the correct line on the form. |
