I am just wondering if I have the right to be pissed off with my school. I gave them the all the documents about 5 weeks ago and wasn't missing anything for sure. I just got on their case and they said it wouldn't be back until July 28. "Sadly" the person doesn't know why it will take this long.
Is this BS or have ARC cards been taking this long with immigration? |

I was there today and there is a sign in immigration saying that they no longer process the ARC on site, they are outsourcing it to a different company meaning that the processing time for the ARC is now a mimimum of 3 weeks
The sign did say that they hope to reduce this time later but for the time being allow a minimum of 3 weeks |

Mine took just about 3 weeks exactly.
They ARE making them elsewhere now, supposedly to prevent fraudulent cards from getting into circulation.
5 weeks seems too long but there really isn't much you can do. I mean, it's not like you can just go to the alternate Immigration office yourself. I wouldn't advise getting too annoyed as long as you have it by the 28th. |
