Online is not an option, so I'd be grateful if someone could tell me where I can purchase probiotic tabs in the Seoul area? Any specific health stores or pharmacies that sell probiotics?

Thanks in advance.

Yup, 60-70K for a month's supply. By the way how legit are the probiotic tabs sold in Korea? Back home they're usually refrigerated and have a pretty short shelf-life, but the ones here are just sitting on the shelf... I thought that probiotics are live cultures = prone to spoilage?

Thanks for the replies. I'll have to pop into a few pharmacies and see what I can find. Regarding the spoilage question, that's a good point. Anyone know?

I'm going to Shanghai this weekend and someone told me to get them today. What exactly are they? Should I get/take them to go to China? How do you say them in Korean?

Well I've visited three large pharmacies so far, and not one of them stock probiotics. I even had to write down in Korean what I was looking for because they were unable to understand the word pu-ro-bi-o-tic-su. Any chance of finding them at the department stores?

I get my probiotics from the International Clinic in Itaewon...there is a vitamin clinic attached to it. They come in pill form. I believe they are about 40,000 won for a bottle 60 pills. The brand name is Probiotics 500 and they are made my a company Golden Life Korea.

*UPDATE*

I finally found some at the GNC store at my local Emart. 49,000won for 90 capsules, or 39,000won with a membership card which will cost you 20,000 to purchase. They throw in a small tub of vitamin C tabs if you purchase a membership card.
