				| I'm posting this question on behalf of my friend.
She's currently in Korea, her current job finishes September 1st. Her plan was to come back to Korea October but she's just been offered a job starting end of September. Problem is her documents are still being processed in the US and it'll be weeks till they're ready.

A recruiter told her she could just transfer her visa while in Korea, as she hasn't left the country since the new FBI rules were brought in.

Is this true? Does anyone have ANY information on transferring?

 HELP!!!!

She really wantS this job but is confused about how she can do it.

 Thanks

If she is from the states (most others have already supplied a "national" check with appostille or K-consulate certification)
 AND
has not signed or been warned to supply new documents
 AND
she has not had a change of status this year
 AND
she has not been out of Korea for more than 3 months during this year

then yes, she can do a simple transfer of status to the new employer.

 She will need:
 ARC
 passport
 new contract
 application
fee (60k won for the transfer and 30k for the extension)
 new employers guarantee (sponsorship form)
copy of new employers business registration

 .
