Hey guys, i just want to ask a question, has anyone had problems transfering to another school, meaning if im at the school im working at and my contract is finished November 3 of this year, but my school wants me back, do i need to have an fbi check again, or do they now transfer me because i have the old visa, meaning before the new law they had in January. Just a question? does any one know?

Another question

Do i need to have another background check, my visia expires Nov 27, my contract ends, Nov 3. Can i just get a tranfer, or if i stay at the same school an extention for another year, with-out CBC, or FBI???

IF you have an FBI check on file AND you have an apostilled (photo)copy of your degree on file you can simply transfer to a new job or renew at the same one without problem.

If you are missing one or the other they will let you renew but may or may not allow the transfer (depends on whether or not you have already had a change of status this year). You get one free pass in 2011 and all documents MUST be on file by 2012 as well as your biometrics (face scan and fingerprints - done at your local immigration office).
