Hi Everyone,
I just got a new job, teaching English in Hongdae. Do any of you know of good value gyms? (All I need is a place with free weights).
Thanks for the consideration |

Best value gym I went to was the hongik university gym. Was somewhere in the range of 20 bucks a month during the summer. |

Two places off the top of my head:
1) The town center in the alley behind the Prugio Apartments right in front of HongDae main gate. Very inexpensive and usually not many people. They have a pool, too, but you have to register separately for that.
2) VIP Fitness. Great equipment and 2 squash courts plus a full on sauna. Think we pay under 30,000 won a month on a 6-month membership. On the same road coming down from HongDae main gate. Cross the main street (where the subway stations are) and keep going toward the Chungewha Wedding Hall. VIP is across the street from the wedding hall. |
