So I'm finally making the move from Taegu to Seoul and I thought I would just need to hire a man and a van to move my stuff up there but now I realise all my accumulated possessions are gonna be far too much for a Bongo truck.
Anybody got any ideas how and how much it would take to get my stuff driven up to Seoul?
I've seen huge moving lorries for families and I've seen little Bongo trucks but I think I'd need some thing in the middle and defo with a roof. My tallest things are a big fridge freezer and an equally tall bookcase but there are quite a few other things to go too.
Any advice? Would it cost a lot? |

Explain to your students or a co-worker what size truck you need and have them call a moving van company. The price will depend on a) how big the truck and b) how much of the work you want them to do (and how much you will do). You will also be expected to give a bonus to the worker(s).
The price I paid 5 years ago is sure to be different now, but it was quite reasonable and I had them do everything (including box up the stuff in the refrigerator). It was the most stress-free move I've ever had.
You might want to contact your new boss and put on some pressure to make sure the new place is clean and ready to go when you arrive. |

I made the same move last September.
I used these guys:
http://www.segilogis.com/
It cost 300K for door to door pickup and delivery and a month of storage. Not sure how much it would be just for delivery.
If you're Korean isn't great, you'll need a friend or co-worker to sort everything out. |
