Has anybody heard of Reggio school in Seoul? I have been offered a position with them but I am hoping to find out more first-hand information about the company. The recruiter I have been working with is sort of rushing me to accept but I would feel more comfortable if I had somebody's outside opinion.
I was planning to apply to EPIK but then this offer came rather early. Do any of you have any preference between working with private companies versus public schools? This opportunity sounds great because it is located in the city but there are other perks with the EPIK program (general support, longer holiday at Christmas) that I am factoring in.
This is probably a bit jumbled but I am feeling the pressure from this recruiter. Would really appreciate any advice you have! |

Post the contract in the contract review thread, and ask the recruiter for the phone numbers of current and former teachers at the school. If the recruiter/school won't give you teachers' contact information, RUN! |

Thanks, I posted the contract over in the thread. The recruiter told me she is having the company give my email address to come current teachers (that was on of my requests before I sign) but I haven't heard anything yet. Thankfully, since she knows I am waiting to hear from another teacher she has laid off on pushing me to respond. |

Hey I am doing a second interview at the Reggio in Seoul today. I'm also wondering about the school. Have you been hired yet? |

Hi! I actually turned the job down. I wasn't too thrilled with the contract and decided to go the EPIK route. I found the job through a recruiter who was also being very pushy with me so I just wasn't comfortable with the whole situation, but I don't know too much about the company otherwise. From what friends have told me the apartment they set you up in is in a fun neighborhood, if that is worth anything!
Good luck! |

Hey!
Glad everything worked out and you got a position with EPIK!
I got hired at Reggio and will be working there starting August. I am sooo happy to hear that the neighborhood sounds fun
Do you know where you'll be working?
Thanks and good luck to you too! |

Awesome!
I'm going to be in Incheon, so not too far from Seoul. Starting in August also... I can't believe it's so soon =X |

You can try SMOE if EPIK doesn't work out. There are others as well.
