Hello all,

Just trying to get some more information about the Saha area of Busan. Does anyone know anything about this area, or has anyone on here lived there before?

Specifically I am interested in learning how suburban the area is. Is it so far outside Busan that if you wanted to go to a restaurant, or to a bar, during the week you would have to taxi into central Busan? Or does it have it's own urban amenities? Is it more like its own neighborhood, or is really just a suburban expanse outside of Busan?

If this helps I've lived in Boston for a while - is it more like going to live in Allston, or living in Westwood?

Thanks to all, any help is appreciated!

I used to live there. To be honest there isn't much in Saha but there are subways and buses all over the place. Their is a wa bar, mcdonalds, pizza, etc in Hadan, 10 minute walk following the main road. There are plenty of galbi joints around, kim bap shacks, fried chicken, and a few pc bangs as well. However don't ever think you are going to spend a Saturday night in Saha. Close enough to Seomyeon that its not too expensive to get home, share cabs is the way to go. PM if you have more questions about the area.

I've been in Hadan for 2 years, there's pretty much everything except a cinema in Hadan. You won't have to get a taxi to Seomyeon for anything but meeting people/foreign bars. Nampo is the place my friends and I hang out most often, nearer than Seomyeon and I prefer it.

The Saha area of Busan is named after the former Fulham and Man United striker Louis Saha, who now plays his football at Everton.

Like Louis it shows flashes of real talent when fit but more often than not it's on the sidelines with a broken leg or pulled muscle, figuratively speaking. Razz
