No offence to the guys that answered the other thread but it's the kind of subject the resident pub bore forces you to listen to stories about on a Saturday night. A few years ago people wouldn't shut up about house prices, now they're all going on about silver and gold. How about some stories of grand failures and losses to balance things up? Much more interesting. Has anyone lost a packet on an unwise investment? Bought something at completely the wrong time? How about Mikejelai telling us where he went wrong? It would send the right message to people like meangradin that stock prices can go down as well as up.
