The YMCA classes are not free. Although the tuition isn't too much.
When I lived in Daegu I also took classes at a hagwon downtown called Beijing Hagwon. It's a Chinese hagwon, but they also offer Korean classes for foreigners.
Check out this google map for directions.

The owner doesn't speak much English, but you shouldn't have too much trouble working out a time and schedule. He's really flexible so if you work mornings you can study in the evening and vice versa. When I went, it was about 120,000 a month for 4 hours a week. I did two hour sessions, but you can spread it out too. He's quite flexible. The classes are really small. It was only me for almost a month and then I only studied with one other person until I stopped going. |
