Hi I am accepting an EPIK job in Gangwon and was just wondering if anyone has any up to date info on interesting things to do there? and which of the "cities" is the best to live in ??

I am not looking for a wild life but also am not looking to become a recluse.. Also does anyone know if most of the jobs are in the cities or are many of them in rural towns ??

I have found some info on here but it seems to be from 2008 / 2009 and I was wondering if anything had changed since then. Thanks..

I lived in Samcheok, within the Gangwon Do province. I have to say that it was beautiful, it has a small town feel, but it is easy to get around much more populated areas. I would also recommend: Wonju and Donghae. Definitely check out Samcheok and its beaches.
