Well they sold me...I sweat like a race horse.

I'll just wait till next year after they've miniturized the fan and the Chinese sell it for 1/3rd of the price...

What a unbelievably inefficient and wasteful invention. Seriously, the amount of energy that takes up would be so much higher than just getting an air conditioner for your office and fixing the insulation. Blah.

It's likely that those little fans use far less energy than it would take to air condition an entire apartment, let alone house. They look ridiculous, though.

When I first heard of it, it reminded me of Sir Francis Galton. Among the many interesting things he prolifically came up with, he also came up with some pretty wacky things. One of his inventions was a little beanie hat with a fan on it that was supposed to keep the brain cool.

how funny would that be, chilling at the beach with a jacket on LOL people would think you are crazy hahahahahha
