My wife and I are heading down to Yeosu for a day at the beach. We will really only have one full day. What's the nicest/cleanest beach to go to?
We both have never been down there.

I know of euncheon artificial beach close to the centre of Yeosu which wouldn't be an expensive taxi ride, and bangjukpo beach on Dolsan island (but connected to the mainland by a bridge). Bangjukpo is nicer but further away. If you take the 111 or 113 buses from outside the main bus station/Emart it should take just over 45 minutes to get there. I think that would be pretty difficult for someone not familiar with the place though, so euncheon is probably your best bet.
I think the proper name of the artifical beach is 은전 or 은천 but I'm not sure about either of those. Don't take my word for it! |
