Hey, newbie teacher moving to Ansan City around mid-August. Was wondering if there is anyone who is looking to off-load some typical furnishings! I'll have a better idea of what I'll need exactly when the current teacher in my new apartment leaves (specifically if he plans to leave stuff or sell it to me) but here are things I suspect I will want:

A small fridge, a fridge/freezer combo would be great but the fridge part for sure.

A microwave.

An electric kettle.

Maybe a couch or a futon if they're cheap enough, comfy chairs or beanbags if not

Utensils! Plates, cups, chopsticks/spoons/forks

Cutlery and cookery (pots and pans, etc.)

A rice cooker

A wok

Lamps, floor lamps preferred.

Cheap drawers

A good fan (I try to keep energy bills down by not using an a/c)
*or one of those combo fans/dehumidifiers

A water filter, either a vase/container or an attachment to the faucet.

...at the moment that's all I can think of.

Please message me personally here! If you live near Ansan that can work too for pretty much everything except the heavy items (couch/futon and fridge, maybe). Thanks!

You can try posting on our FaceBook wall and ask if anyone has what you're looking for. Should have better luck there since it's your target audience.

You'll also be able to buy most of the items right in Ansan if you have no luck. You can check out or shopping page to give you an idea of what's in the area.
