i am flying with china eastern airlines on saturday to phuket with a layover in shanghai.
just wondering...
-do you have to pay for checked baggage?
-do they provide meals on either flight (seoul-shanghai, shanghai-phuket)? |

I've flown with them Busan - Bangkok with stopovers in Shanghai. I checked my backpack and wasn't charged extra. They served food on both legs of the flight - one hot meal and one big 'snack pack' box, both were decent, I had no complaints.
If you have a long stopover at the airport, I recommend changing some money to RMB before you leave Korea - the fees that they charge in Shanghai are insane, something like $15US regardless of how much money you're changing. |
