It seems a long shot, but does anyone know of a US data plan that I could pay for by the month for my Galaxy S while I am home? I found a few but they weren't for phones, only tablet PCs.

I'm about to go back too. I have to look again, but I saw some sim cards online that included data plans. 500MB and 1GB cards. I would do a google search.

I did a search and it seemed that those cards are limited to devices that don't have calling capabilities. I think they want to prevent smartphone users from just getting data-only plans and using VOIP instead of buying into their calling plans.

I just started doing more research, but check into TMobile. They offer a pay as you go plan for $50/month. Unlimited text, talk and data. I believe you can order just the sim card, but I will have to wait until I get to the US. Otherwise, I will go to Walmart or Sam's club and see if they offer sim cards with data.
