I'm pretty sure I've lost my (Canadian) passport and I am unfortunately supposed to be heading out of country in 11 days.
Has anyone done the procedure to get an emergency passport, and if so, do you know how much it costs/difficulty level?
Cheers, |

Traveling home to Canada = they can issue emergency travel documents.
IF you are going elsewhere then your plans will probably change (new passports take 14-31 days from the embassy (typically 20 working days).
Get thee to the embassy ASAP. Get a police file for the report of a lost or stolen passport before you go to the embassy (it is a requirement for a replacement travel document). http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/korea-coree/consular_services_consulaires/lost-perdu.aspx?lang=eng .

Absolutely get a Police report!!!!
I'm just speaking from Experience. If you dont file a missing passport report with the police. Canadian passport services WILL NOT issue a new passport. ... It's the first thing you should do!. |
