Going back to my home country after 7 years in Korea,
I need to transfer a large amount of cash to pay for some home relocation (about 50 Mil.)
I have no clue what is the best option to get the transfer going without paying too much bank fee.
open to some advice ! |

5 million or 50 million the bank fees are usually the same (flat fees) for bank wires - bank to bank (from about $40 to 50 depending on the country you are sending it to).
It is certainly the safest and most secure method of sending it.
Your next best option would be to set up internet banking with foreign remittance (and send it home after you get there). The fees are usually about 1/2 the price of doing it over the counter at the bank.
