I found an English speaking optometrist in Pungnap-dong which is very close to Jamsil (Lotte World).

The name is Eye Plus and the phone number is 02-485-8008.

The optometrist said to say that you were "referred by Jerry" and he'll give you a discount.

SUBWAY DIRECTIONS: Take the #8 Pink Line to Gangdong-gu Office Station (2 stops from Jamsil). Go out exit #4. Walk straight ahead out of the exit and go for about 3 or 4 minutes until you come to the first major intersection (there's a traffic light here). Turn right. Walk past the big apartment block on your right. You'll come to a small road leading off to your right. Continue straight. You'll pass a Tous Le Jour Bakery as well as a "Pizza School" pizza joint. Eye Plus is in the same building as Pizza School. It's about 5 or 6 shops down. The shop has large glass windows and is trimmed in orange (hard to miss).

Peace Out![/u]

Thanks!!!!

What did you end up getting there??

I could do with some more glasses, but it would also be handy to have contact lenses too.

How much did you pay??

I had some frames that I'd bought there a year ago but never used and I went back to have prescription lenses put in. It cost ₩70,000 which is pretty reasonable. My eyesight is horrible without glasses.

I know that they do sell contacts but don't know how much. You're free to call them and ask though. They're terribly nice there.
