Hi, my patients recommended that I put something up, as so far it has just been word of mouth that they found me...

I am a chiropractor, trained and board certified in the US. I am here in Korea teaching (like most of you) and also practice out my my wife's and my apartment. If you came to see me, please understand this is "low tech" chiropractic, and I am adjusting using a massage table. It works, but doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a full chiropractic table.

I am not trying to make this into a full business, and am mainly practicing to keep up my skills. I charge 20,000 won per visit, and am not the type that tells you you need to come back in 2 times a week for the rest of your life. I try to get patients better fast, so they can get on with their lives. I also will not see more than 2-3 people a day. Our apartment is in Migeum, and if you need me, I am here.

Please email me at armatis1 @ yahoo.com or text me at 010-4694-9226 and I will call you back to arrange for a visit.
Take care,
Michael Armatis, DC

I tweaked and republished my web page from when I was practicing in California. It has a map of how to get to my place, and lots of other info about chiropractors, etc...
Take a look! (It's still a work in progress though, so it might occasionally be down)

Just an update, I am moving back to the US in about 6 weeks, and will only keep my table for about 4-5 of those weeks. If you need any work done, or are curious about what chiros do, no time like the present! I only charge 20K won, and am available in the evenings after 9:40, and all morning until noon. At the end of July, we ship out!

010-4694-9226 (I have an old phone, and can't receive picture messages, or long texts, so if I don't respond in a day, that is why, so you need to call or email me)

Sorry guys, Closed up shop! The wife and I are headed back to California. If you need any chiropractic care, there are only two places I have had personal experience with:

Sky Wellness Center (www.skychiro.com) in Itaewan, I went to school with him, he's a good guy, but I would only recommend buying a package plan if you know that you will need lots of care (a long standing condition).

Create Wellness (http://www.createwellnesscenter.com) I worked for this guy in his Osan clinic, and there's a little more of a sales pitch in this place. They also like to sell package plans. Okay care, but this would be my second choice, or if you don't like the people/care at Sky.

There is also a guy somewhere in Gangnam, I don't know much about him, and I never actually met him. From what I have read, he seems to be okay. Once again though, this is only what I read, not personal experience.

Good luck all, and take care.
