My contract ends on Feb.24th, 2012. If I were to leave the country and give my ARC card to immigration on Feb. 1st (I would be leaving on my paid vacation) would my visa technically be canceled?

Would my employer therefore not be able to pay my salary and would I still get my pension?

If anyone knows the answer to this, or experienced a similar situation, let me know!
