So what Sports do you guys/gals enjoy or watch?

I'm from America so Football means something different here than around the world

also enjoy occasionally Baseball & Basketball...usually now just Playoffs or Championships

I can see myself liking Soccer or Futbol but only if i'm there because other than Baseball, low scoring Sports like Hockey have been hard to become a fan of

Baseball, i think becoming a Fan of Korean Baseball will be really easy Smile

I'm a 37-year-old American male. In my whole life, I've never watched a whole (hell, not even 1/4) game of

- basketball
- baseball
- hockey
- tennis
- cricket
- rugby
- golf

I've seen one full soccer game, and that was in Korea. It wasn't too boring. Fortunately, the beer was cheap. And I've watched about three football games before, but usually by the third quarter, I'm fighting to stay awake.

I used to really like watching Bill Dance's fishing show. Before I was a fan, I was convinced that the Beetle Spin was the ultimate weapon against the largemouth bass. But he taught me that nothing equals success like a plastic worm. (However, I still prefer Carolina-rigged over Texas-rigged, but that's just preference).

I like watching professional eating. I like going to hockey games in person, but mainly for the fights.

I prefer non-competitive athletics for myself (running, bike riding, hiking, etc).

I was turned off of sports (and all athletics really) at a young age from middle school gym class. It wasn't until I was in my 20's that I rediscovered fitness. I still get antsy and stressed by the thought of volleyball.

I didn't mind watching that swimming and what not that was just recently on TV. ^^

I used to play this when I was young... well, not hurling, but camogie. It's great craic. Probably the best team sport I've ever played.

Used to play/do regularly: camogie, field hockey, basketball, tennis, badminton, horse riding, gymnastics, swimming, cycling

Now: just swimming

I don't see the connection. I am obsessed with food and I have a 17.4 BMI. So, yeah...

I played D&D a few times, but I never got a regular game going. I only played 4th ed. rules which is kind of easy peasy, I am told. I am a HUGE nerd. I am not ashamed of my comic book collection or thick-rimmed glasses, thanks. Smile

I love watching and following sports! I am a total sports nerd. All of my friends know better than to mention sports in front of me, as I'll go on and on talking about it!

I currently follow MLB, NFL, NBA, and NCAA football (Pac-12). I love my Mariners, Seahawks, Blazers, and of course the Oregon Ducks!

The Mariners had my hopes up there for awhile, only to epically disappoint! Sad
But they just swept the A's, so maybe there's still hope, maybe. . .

I also go to Korean baseball games every now and then with my meetup group. My favorite KBO team is the Doosan Bears, but I also like the LG Twins.

I don't play any team sports anymore. In the past I've played rugby and volleyball, but I was never that great at either. These days, I prefer skiing or quad-roller-skating (you know, the skates with 4 wheels arranged in a rectangle). I was just starting to get decent at speed skating when I got laid off from the rink I used to work at and could no longer afford to go. Too bad there are no quad skates or rinks to be found here in Korea, just inline skating.

NNNOOOOOOOOoooooooo............ Wink

I used to run an Irish Handball sports club in university and every year about 10-15 Team Handball players would sign up, not realising that it's a completely different sport! They got some shock at the first training session! Laughing

@kimdeal54

Good stuff! Would you ever consider getting back into it over here? I know that they are trying to get Hurling and Camogie up and running with the Asian Gaelic Games being held in Seoul this year.
