Hello hello. I just started seeing a girl in Seoul and I'm interested in finding some good date places. She's newer to the city than me, so she has more or less entrusted me with planning our next date. But I can't really think of many good places.

Here's what I'm looking for:
-A restaurant, cafe, teahouse, drinking estalishment (especially wine), etc.
-Someplace not too expensive (drinks less than 10,000, entrees less than 20,000 or something like that)
-Someplace quiet and good for conversation- this is super important. I feel like a lot of the place in Hongdae require you to shout at your date.
-Unique + good atmosphere
-Interesting neighborhood for walking around afterwards

Anywhere is town is fine, I like the idea of exploring a new area.

Any suggestions? Do you have a favorite place to take dates?
Thanks in advance!

Hapjeong has a few decent places and is much quieter than Hongdae and not as expensive as Gangnam. I can't think of too many off the top of my head, but there's a decent Italian place (decent by Korea standards) called something Kitchen. Maybe Angela's Kitchen... There's also a Spanish place that isn't too bad.

@lawyertood- Thanks, that place looks perfect for relaxing and talking after dinner

@furtakk- That Italian place sounds good. I should really explore the Hapjeong area more. I know a Spanish place in the Hongdae area, which is REALLY good, but the last time I went (with a friend, not a date) our bill was more than 100,000 o.O

O'Sulloc Tea is a popular choice, often with a line out the door...There are several around the various areas.

I'd recommend Mezza Luna Italian Restaurant or Ganga Indian in the Seoul Finance Center. bit out of the price range, but they are solid, solid places. No barely acceptable foreign food there....

Bodega Spanish in Jamsil was OK. Not terribly impressed, but you can probably have dinner for two and finish with a bill around 80,000 won instead of the 100 you paid in Hongdae.

A decent conveyor belt Sushi restaurant is not a bad choice. These abound everywhere.

Hotels are always an option.
