Jackson, Mississippi (CNN) -- On a recent Sunday morning just before dawn, two carloads of white teenagers drove to Jackson, Mississippi, on what the county district attorney says was a mission of hate: to find and hurt a black person.
How could these guys be so stupid as to brag about it at McDonalds?  |

Because culturally-driven racial hate must express itself loudly. The goal isn't to furtively murder a specific individual for personal gain after all, but rather to exult in one's dysfunctional values and ideology. It's a horrific and terrible thing. |
