One of my co-teachers rescued a puppy she can't keep. It's half cocker spaniel, half unknown. She says he's very outgoing and friendly and housebroken.

She says he's two years old... but I've seen pictures and he's a little squirt. Still looks like a puppy... maybe she meant two months old, not sure. It sounds like he's not going to get much bigger.

Anyway he's neutered and has had all his shots and whatnot. He had some recent health problem but had surgery and everything's fine now.

Do I get to claim that this dog is a rescue or that I rescued the dog if I adopt it? That's the only reason why I would want the dog anyway so people think that I'm an angel for rescuing a dog. Let me know.
