It kills me to write this ad. I've had Cooper for a little over a year now. I was married at the time and we both worked opposite schedules....after much thought we decided to get a dog and bought Cooper here in Korea. He stole our hearts.
A couple months ago I went through a divorce and am now living alone again. My schedule is ok now, but I will start graduate school here in Korea next spring and will also be working at the same time, so I won't be able to take care of Coops by myself.
Hopefully someone on here is looking for a dog and can give him a happy home and the attention he deserves. He was born May 25th 2010 so he's almost a year and a half old. He is very smart and knows several commands, "Sit, stay, wait, go to bed, quiet, lay down, give it, etc" He is not trained to go to the bathroom outside since he is a small dog.....he goes potty on his pee pad which has a stabilizing snap-together thing. He goes #2 on schedule once in the morning and once at night and I just pick it up from the pad with a wet wipe and flush it down the toilet. I'm sure he will learn how to hold it and go outside if you'd prefer that though, as I said he learns quickly and LOVES training session time, haha.
He never ever bites, he only barks a few times if a stranger comes in the house, but will stop after 5-6 barks and with re-assurance and "Quiet" command. He warms up to people easily. He LOVES sitting in your lap or other people's laps, and REALLY loves playing on your bed (he will jump around like a rabbit, haha).
Friends that have Mini Pins tell me how spastic theirs are, but Cooper is pretty chill for the most part. He has play times and walks where he uses his energy, but he is happy hanging out in his bed and taking naps.
What else...he's been neutered and of course has all his shots. He eats morning and night. He is a bit of a coward sometimes....it's cute. But around other dogs he acts big and tough, although he's been well socialized and plays well. He sleeps in his cage/crate and loves it in there. He also likes bath time....I sit down in the shower and he crawls in my lap and I give him a bath that way. He also really likes the water.
When we first got him, he got very very sick after the first week. Could barely breathe and had no energy. One vet misdiagnosed him and said his heart was deformed. We were about to have him put down as he was obviously just miserable (unable to stand up, peeing his bed) and the vet said he probably wouldn't last another day. Luckily we got a second and third opinion and he ended up having a bad case of pneumonia. He was treated in the vet and bounced back after a week! He's a trooper!
Sorry I've written a novel, I could write more. It feels like I'm giving my child away. Ok well I also have his crate, snacks, food, bowls, toys, clothes for really cold winter walks, foldable open metal cage, pee pads, bedding, leash and collar. Also have all his medical papers.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me. If I can find a GOOD home for him then that is priceless.....that's why I'm giving him away for free.
