I got QOOK TV about a month ago. I highly reccomend it. Here's a link to the channel lineup:

http://www.olleh.com/index.asp?code=BFD00

You'll have plenty of English news (CNN International, BBC, Euronews, etc). You'll have at least as many entertainment channels as you would get with regular cable. There are several channels that are Korean, but are alomst always showing English TV shows like CSI, NCIS, Numb3rs, etc.

You should try to bundle your TV if you can. Do you get internet from KT? What about your cell phone? If you can get them all from one company you'll be in discount heaven. SK also has a service called BTV worth looking at:

Their channel lineup has kinda crappy news but I guess the entertainment is a little better.

Thanks Jasper.

I guess new n all will be sufficient. I already have KT Internet and Landline Phone. I am planning to add Qook TV. As long as I have a couple of news and entertainment channels, I am ok.

My mobile phone is also KT but I am planning to change to SKT since I am planning to take Galaxy S or TAB. My current phone is a feature phone. So, KT is not an option right now for me.

I am moving to a new apartment on march 1, so I am requesting KT to give me a phone/Internet/QOOK TV package, which should save some money Smile

i have the qook tv/internet package..
if u had regular korean cable before.. u maybe seriously disappointed.
i love discovery channel.. but qook DOESNT carry it. nor animal planet. =(((
it also lacks a lot of kpop music channels and comedy channels.

internet is blazing fast. but youtube is EXTREMELY slow. im not too sure if this is KT.. or if its youtube`s servers.

but if that doesnt bother u too much, and lookin for a cost effective bundle.. it might be the way to go.

ps. you wont get much a discount because you have KT phone service btw...

THANKS, i have not been able to decide yet. I am still thinking between Skylife n Qook TV. I dont want to sign a 3 yr contract but Qook TV has fewer channels n its own issues.

Anyways Thanks

I was told there was no deal with smartphones because they're already discounted so much for the most part.
