inspired by the 'What kind of music are you listening to' thread

I don't care when it was made but im really not into K-pop.

any bands/groups/artists of note? (ANY genre)

look forward to hearing the responses.
just to get the ball rolling I heard some good hiphop by a guy called Garion

Thanks

Thank you NoHope.

Ideally im looking for some stuff with vocals that I can follow as a way to improve my Korean.

There must be some good stuff from some point in history. 70s?80s?90s?
Im sure there must be someone on the board who has been here for a few years who can educate me/us on this

thanks again

Decent bit of funk/hiphop circa 2003 from Asoto Union (Windy City) and Dynamic Duo. Sounds vaguely like something DJ Shadow might have dropped one time.

Here's a reggae/dub influenced slow one from Windy City and Whale. Been a while since I heard the guys from Windy City and I have to say I'm enjoying them tonight!

go to old man bars with signs that say "70s-80s"...which is basically code for acoustic rock/folk that was popular during those decades.

I'm not so big on MC Sniper, but this is pretty catchy.

I also like The Black Skirts. There should be more Korean bands like this!
