|
|
My hagwon is decent enough, I get my pension and health, taxes paid etc. however I'm worried that they'll try and screw me when I want my severance.
I'll have worked there for 2 years come the end of February (or a few days under) so I should be entitled to 1 year and the following months on a pro rata basis? (i figure around 4.5mil)
as far as i'm aware - i need pay stubs for at least the final 3 months to calculate the pay (i need to ask for them asap)? As of right now, my contract says nothing about the money and I know the old 원장님 told the Korean staff that it was included in their pay - this is BS right?
am i right in thinking that once you've been there for 365 days, you're entitled to the money and there is no way to get around this via contract clauses or lack of them?
just in anticipation for a fight in the future.
also, should i mention something to them now or at the end of my contract? i'll be here on a f-2/f-6 by then so will be around to fight for it if needs be.
cheers for any advice |
