Too bad. Although I dont agree with everything Apple, he did improve its marketing and product line to make it the #1 brand in the world. Farewell, SJ! Cool

I don't think much will change. Steve Jobs hasn't been the acting CEO for almost a year. Instead, Tim Cook has been the acting CEO.

If you read Steve Jobs' resignation letter, he pretty clearly says that he is stepping down from the job of CEO, but that he will remain as the Chairman Of Apple's Board, and will continue with the creation and development of new products and their marketing. This has been confirmed by Apple in a press release.

Also, Steve Jobs has specifically stated that Tim Cook should become the permanent CEO.

So, basically, nothing new that hasn't been happening for the last year. Tim Cook will be taking care of the day-to-day stuff at Apple and Steve Jobs will be in on the design and development of new and existing products.

For those that hate Apple and/or Steve Jobs, it's bad news. Steve will be around and Steve has been training Tim Cook since 1998, to take over the company. So don't expect any drastic changes anytime soon.

Although I find him utterly unbearable and entirely punchable, I wish him a speedy recovery. Hating Apple will never be the same again... Very Happy
