Can anyone recommend a good OB/GYN in Daegu?
I've scoured the Internet for info but it seems that the only expats who get pregnant in Korea are in Seoul (huh, maybe that's a sign?). I'm also aware of a couple of women's hospitals around (Hyosung, Sungmo) but I can't seem to find any info about them in English.
I'm fine with just calling a hospital and making an appointment, but I'd feel more comfortable if I knew what I was getting into BEFORE making that call. I'd appreciate any help or advice you have to give--thanks! |

Hyosung Women's Hospital is where I go to. They have an international coordinator. The doctors there are all women (something that is most important for me) and I know the one doctor I went to spoke some English. You can check out the website: www.hshospital.co.kr or you can call (053)766-7073 and talk to Hyo-jeong Ku. She speaks English pretty well and can get you set up with an appointment. If you have any other questions, feel free to pm me. |

To the op and the previous poster:
Check out this forum if you want info about pregnancy and parenthood. There are lots of posts already about various hospitals in Seoul and other cities that may be of some use to you.
