Does the city close down during this time, or is it still a good time to visit?? |

Every year it seems like more and more places stay open. What did you have in mind? |

It depends on what you want to do. Standard offices and gov't places are closed. Restaurants, movie theaters, malls, stores, touristy things stay open.
Honestly, it just feels like a weekend. |

Kind of an empty weekend though, as so many Koreans leave the city to visit their grandparents, family grave sites, etc. |

All of the tourist locations are open on holidays. During Chuseok, you can visit places like the National Museum and Seoul Tower without big crowds of Koreans. Now, Coex does get crowded, but go see museums and palaces and you'll be fine. |
