I'm hoping to get a job teaching adults - is that even remotely possible from the UK? Preferably a University - any advice?

Unlikely from abroad.

USUALLY a university position will require you to be IN Korea for the interview (usually December). This is certainly true if you do not have Asian experience or an unrelated MA.

You MAY find a position (with a lot of time and effort) at a university from abroad if you hold a UK or SA passport, related BA/MA plus experience.

If you hold a related PhD it is a different matter.

Can you get a job teaching adults at a hagwan = yes but you would be a fool to do so.

.

Sure, just make sure its in the Center of Seoul. You don't want to end up in anywhere else.

Tiger, take care when you jot poster ucfacrg's unusual spelling down on your list.

Else poor old Pojogae might get it up the ass again.

ask Pojogae, he'll tell you why that's the only thing you need to consider when searching for a job.

Appy directly to schools that teach adults. Pagoda is one. They like first time teachers to have a CELTA or TEFL certificate and you will have to work split shifts.
