I've lived in Korea before and the entire time I kept thinking 'Oh I wish I'd brought this and this and that...' but as soon as I left, gone. Not a clue what I wish I'd for. Now I'm heading back, still can't remember what I wanted to bring back.
What do you wish you'd brought???

More antiperspirant. Green Tabasco. Coins and cash from home to show students. Big bottle of gel Advil.
I think that's pretty much it. I can find just about everything else here. |

Not sure if you have Advil - it's a painkiller with ibuprofen rather than acetaminophen. I just find that it works better for headaches & hangovers than Tylenol. I like the gel capsules because I think they work faster. I'm sure there's an equivalent here in Korea but bringing over a bottle or two was easier than going to the pharmacy, and I haven't seen gel capsules anywhere. |

ask for "ibuprofen" at the pharmacy (with a short "i").
getting it here for half the price is easier than bringing "a bottle or two". |

I got here about a month ago and if I could make the trip again, I would definitely bring something to make my bed a bit softer. I know you can buy blankets, mattress pads, etc at Homeplus, but I'd rather not spend 30,000 won (or more!) on a simple egg crate that I could have shoved in my suitcase. I'd also bring some maple syrup and chocolate...but that's just me |

Large beach towels, truckloads of quality hummus/mediterranean food in general, Trader Joe's, a nee pair of rainbows, my authentic local mexican restaurant, lots of spices, vitamins.
I am sure there is more...but those seem to be the things I miss the most. |
