Which is your choice for random food items and other goods (toilet paper comes to mind). I'm still new so I haven't made a decision yet.

Yea, gotcha

We're not talking seeking the best lawyer to get you out of a Class A Felony or looking for the ideal Craniofacial Surgeon to remove a highly invasive carcinoma, or a good barber.

We're talking gum, an ocassional sandwich, Coca Cola, etc ....

Get a grip, get what you want, when you want it, where you want to

The local mom and pop store.

I for one avoid the blindingly-lit, minimally stocked, student-staffed blights on the local landscape.

I currently have an LG 25 in my apartment building, so I tend to favor that.

Generally, though, each place will have things that the others won't, so a lot depends mostly on which direction I'm coming from, and what I want. I also usually try to go somewhere where I get friendly reactions. There's a nice little convenience store that's staffed by friendly people in Ssangyongdong, but I don't really know how to explain where it is...

Mini-stop. Purely because there aren't any Buy the Ways in my area.

Now that I think about it, that's sort of eerie.

Makes me wonder what Mini-Stop had to do to get a monopoly here.

I go to whatever is closest. I have no loyalty to franchise convinience stores.

I go to the the mom and pop shop mostly.

I prefer Mini-Stop because they always have my favorite snack breads. They are more likely (in these parts, anyway) to have English language newspapers, and, in my experience, ATMs that accept froeign cards.

We sit and drink at the Buy the Way, and the guy's nice enough to pop open my drinks for me.

Family Mart near my school has the finest selection of triangle kimbap in all the land. Good spot.
