Are you just using it for general scanning, or more accurate photo scans for more professional-type work?

Unfortunately, the individual scanners not connected to an all-in-one type printer are grossly overpriced here.

You can get into a cheap scanner/printer combo for as little as 45,000 won these days, but they aren't the greatest quality.

The cheapest scanner by itself is the HP G2410:

I wouldn't go any cheaper than a few models up from that, though, if you're looking for something decent. We have the Epson V330's at work, along with the V600's:

So if you're not scanning anything too overly detailed, go with a cheap printer combo model.
