I'm doing my PGCE through UNISA and the following issue needs some feedback from teachers who have taught in SA: what is the most critical causes that are impacting educational standards in SA? If you are working in a Korean public school, are these issues handled better?

Possible factors could include the curriculum, resources, management, teacher qualifications, teacher training, discipline, parental involvement, mother-tongue education, the learning culture, poverty...

Either reply here or pm me. It would be helpful to know if any of the above affected your local ex-SA school, and how.

I apologise for the heavy subject matter, but I am in Jeju with no suitable Saffers to interview. Thanks for helping out.

You should try saffers on facebook group, Korea is riddled with certified South Africans.

You may well be overwhelmed with responses.
