I'll be doing a visa run for my new job as as soon as possible and I need my ARC as soon as I can.

I was wondering is it possible to do the medical check before I go to Japan on the visa run or do I have to wait until I return from Japan with the visa?

Also, can you do the test at any hospital or must you complete the check at a designated hospital in the vicinity of the school?

Not sure about Japan, but I am in Sanbon (about an hour outside of Seoul). We just went to the local hospital, they had their own form, but then a week later he went to get the results and had the official summary form with stamps and all. No problems.
