|
|
I recently picked up an older model TV to replace my newer TV (because the older one is much bigger) and I've run into a little problem with connecting my laptop to the bigger TV.
The smaller TV was made within the last few years, so it has HDMI and all kinds of sockets. The bigger TV is older (though still HDTV) and doesn't have HDMI or VGA. In fact, it only has S-Video and Component sockets.
Here's where I hit a snag, because my laptop only has HDMI and a VGA socket for TV Out (and that's assuming the VGA will work).
So, I was wondering if anyone knew any way to convert VGA to S-Video or Component cables. I know it's impossible to convert the HDMI, because that would be digital to analogue, but the VGA is also analogue so there must be a way...right?
Thanks in advance. |

VGA-to-component and VGA-to-S-video are both available. You might even be able to find them in Hi-Mart or E-Mart. |

Thanks eamo - I already checked my local Hi-Mart but they didn't have it. Maybe I was just unlucky. I'll keep looking.
If anyone knows somewhere I can order online, please let me know. |
