Hello,
I am just wondering what type of drug test is usually done for the E2 visa (urine, blood, saliva, hair etc.).
Is there a standard procedure that is followed or does it depend on the clinic/employer etc.?
Does anyone know what drugs are being screened?

Not sure why this is in the travel forum. Anyways...
The standard drug test is urine and tests for hard drugs (meth, cocaine, etc...). Seeing as you are from Canada, I assume you are mostly concerned about marijuana. The test for THC isn't included in the base test but can be added if the employer chooses. Most choose to add it. |

| for what it's worth, my THC test consisted of the nurse asking me sternly if i smoked marijuana. i replied with a politely indignant "no". |

Hey I saw this and you seem one of the people that's not being sarcastic or shutting people down. So I have scoured the net and cant find a guide line on liver emzyme test in regards to the E2 medical test.. Do you know anything about this one? Whats the cut off. In Australia healthy is considered around the 30's but in USA its in the 50's... Don't know if I'm being paranoid but would be good to know. I go between 30 and 35. |
