|
|
So I have been offered 2 jobs, 1 in Yangsan and 1 in Ulsan. They both pay the same but the Yangsan one has better hours and a bigger apartment but I dont know if this is worth it for living in smaller town.
Does anyone know or live in either of these places and can offer any opinions on quality of life there ? How easy is it to get from Yangsan into Busan and is there anything much to do in Yangsan ?
Any help is appreciated |

Look at Google Earth; Yangsan is basically the northern most suburb of Busan, it takes about 40 minutes on the metro to be slap bang in the center of Busan from Yangsan Station.
There's tons of stuff to do in Yangsan anyway. It's not really a small city, it has a population of around 250,000. There's a stadium, cinema, big E-Mart, all that sort of stuff.
Bare in mind though where the position is. If it's the eastern side of the mountain (that splits Yangsan into a sort of 70% west side 30% east side) then you'll find it quicker to get the bus into Busan than to go to central Yangsan. |

Thanks, I had a look on google and i think I am leaning more towards the Yangsan one actually as it seems to be a decent size and if the access to Busan is there then I have the big city close by without being right in the centre of it.
The main thing i liked about Ulsan was that its closer to the coast/beach but I guess i can always head into Busan which has nice beaches by the looks of it.
Thanks for your help |
