Since coming to Korea what I can watch in my first language on television has been fairly limited. It's easy to find popular English content to watch and because of it's popularity I've watched just about everything Gordon Ramsey has been a part of.

I've gotten a little tired of his shows since they are about as predictable as a Steven Segal movie; but I am definitely sold on Beef Wellington. It even popped up on a popular Australian show recently.

In many cases I just cook things I'm interested in trying out... but this looks fairly complicated. On top of that, I currently have a fairly poor range with the built in toaster not really being a stove.

So, I'm wondering, does anyone know of a place in Korea that serves Beef Wellington? Hopefully a restaurant dedicated to American or European cuisine? Outside of a good Beef Wellington, can you recommend a good European restaurant that isn't a franchise.

We live in Bundang and Seoul is easily accessible via the subway, but we are open to learning of any fantastic places to enjoy a special meal.

I'm pretty sure Le Cigale Montmartre in Itaewon has it (http://asiaenglish.visitkorea.or.kr/ena/SI/SI_EN_3_6.jsp?cid=309557. If you want the best reasonably priced French food in the city, however, go to Le Saint Ex instead. Constantly changing menu, prices aren't killer, good service, decent ambiance. If you're willing to really spend, go to one of the five star hotels (the Hyatt is amazing).
