Ok, I've noticed something which has got me curious.
If I buy a return ticket from the UK to Korea, I get a ticket price of about 600 pound.
If I buy a ticket which is the other way around (from Korea to UK and then the return ticket) the price is quoted as 900 pound. And yet it's the exact same flight, only reversed. What the heck? |

Hmm...I flew aeroflot one time. If it's your only choice maybe, but I would look hard for other options. |

I was actually trying to get a deal for someone else - I always fly using a return ticket so it's no problem for me. I just couldn't believe the huge price difference when you reverse the route.
Anyone actually know why that is? |

I've flown this route quite a few times. Here's my best guess...
Leaving Korea, the flights are usually full. However, flying back into Korea from pretty much anywhere in Europe, the flights aren't half as busy. Loads of sleeping space. When I flew with Emirates, the entire back section of the plane was empty.
I know that it's technically the exact same flights, but I suppose that more Koreans fly to the UK/Europe than vice versa. Just a theory. |

It have nothing to do with the costs or emptiness of the planes.
Many more Koreans fly to UK and back than British to Korea and as much tickets sales for both ways might be on same level demand for this flight is higher in Korea so they can sell tickets for 150% (other airlines do just same). |
