Wystan Kang has scammed my family out of 10 million Korea won for tickets purchased and paid at the end of April. We have not been able to receive any money back at this point. He signed a legal document drafted by a lawyer stating that he would pay the sum of the funds at the end of August. The end of August came and went and we got nothing!!!!!!!!!!

Burtonite, you got my sympathies in the other thread in which someone linked your blog. This really sucks, and I hope you get your money back, somehow.

the guy has been scamming for years......just do a quick google search of his name and it comes up many times on different forums

A special investigations unit is starting to proceed with an investigation against Zenith and they would like to know about other victims of Kang Wystan. This is for people who have lost money, not disgruntled customers who got bad service.
Additionally, an up and coming online magazine 3 Wise Monkeys, is writing up a feature article on this story. 3WM will protect your identity if you wish. We expect the publicity of the 3WM story to reach out and find other victims who are not Dave ESL types.
If you wish to pass your info onto the police investigation, you will need to provide your Alien registration number, name and contact phone and a brief description of how you lost money to Kang.

and I will forward it to the special investigators. I am also a victim of Kang, who appears to be running a Ponzi scheme or just down right thievery.

This is todays email trail between myself and Mr Kim of KTO

Mr Kim replied:

I just got back to my office holding the Korea Times in my hand. It is not tolerable. It is definately criminal activity.

To find a way to slove this probelm, I just spoke with an police officer in the Seocho Police Office(Tel : 3483-9366), he saids all victims should bring an accusation against Mr. Kang.

Dear Sir,

Today I was shocked to see that the Korea Times is again running the advertisement for Zenith Travel. I sent them an email letter to the Editor two weeks ago but they did not publish it. Can you do anything to stop this aiding and abetting of a criminal? Everyday I am finding out that new victims are being ripped off by Kang Wystan of Zenith Travel. This is eventually going to be made public in major news outlets outside of Korea.
How can this kind of criminal activity continue to take place on a daily basis in this "OECD" country? If you recall, the police at Gangdong refused to take my complaint, which leads me to believe that they are somehow connected with this criminal.

Fellow victims...NOW is the time to go to the Seocho police station, exit 6 at Seocho subway station, and file your complaint with investigation team 2.

Does it have to be Seocho station? I live in Ilsan and can't make it in there. I was ripped off to tune of 2.8million won. If I can't get my cash back I certainly want him closed down and hopefully in jail.

I'm going to be back in the ROK next week and the first thing I intend to do is go to Seocho Police station and file a complaint with the investigation team. If this criminal has fled the country, lets hope they can sell whatever assets he has left and at least recompense some of those who have been ripped off.

Incidentally Lokog, why would u not be able to make it t Secho Police station?? Catch a bus there...get the subway. Not difficult.

At the time I filed my complaint at the Seocho police station, I didnt know that the Namdaemun Police station was heading the investigation. If you are going to file a complaint, go to the Namdaemun police station, at Namdaemun subway station, using the exit marked Namdaemun police station. The investigation team is on the 7th floor of Namdaemun police station. I have been told that Seocho police station is going to forward my complaint to Namdaemun, so for new complaints eliminate the middle man and go directly to Namdaemun. Also, it is better if you have someone who can speak Korean with you as they have very limited English capability.
Additionally, don't forget to mention the person who says he is only answering the phone and doesnt really work for Kang. That is false, he works for Kang and is an accomplice in every sense of the word. That persons name is Chang Sang Hoon. If you call the Zenith Travel number right now, he will take your information and pass it on to Kang, and he will not warn you that Kang is cheating customers. That is an aiding and abetting a crime, in my opinion.
