So I'm looking for a university where I can work toward a creative writing Masters, potentially one where I could t.a., or have some sort of English teaching arrangement. Do any such opportunities exist in Seoul? My only other option would be doing an online program. And I feel a little iffy about the whole online thing.

Also if there are any sorts of creative writing workshops or other programs that would be appreciated too. I would like to join something a bit more organized and formal. I was a magazine writer for five years and have had a few pieces of fiction published as well, so I'm looking for a program for serious writers, potentially with some publication experience.


Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Can't help with the masters, but I did join a creative writing group on meetup.com for Seoul today in case you're interested.

I too would like to know about this, as a masters in writing is something I've been looking into doing for a long time.

You should however join the Seoul writer's workshop. They have a group on Facebook and meet twice a month.

There's a new low-residency creative writing MFA program at City University of HK: you're off-campus most of the year, and you fly in for short periods of time. This may meet the needs of some people now in Korea. Info here:
