Hi all
I want to go to korea around next year
thought i'd gather some informations ahead of time
I would like to look for a job other than teaching english if it's possible..
Since I think I can get F-4 visa, do I still need to get background check from the states?? or would the companies in korea do it themselves?
I heard F-4 visa works similar to greencard..
any experiences??

F4 = no background check required for your visa.
A background check MAY be required by your employer.
Who pays for it and what type you need to get will depend on your employer.
If your employer requires you to have one it will be your responsibility to get it (they can't).
